Our client, a leading, highly regarded, investment firm, is building a State of the Art Design Innovation lab to focus on the future of their customers’ experience with the company and their offerings. You will be a hands-on member of a collaborative and forward thinking team that defines new ways of engaging with customers, taking projects from concept to launch and delivering innovative multi-platform product solutions that are unique to the industry!
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create desirable and feasible multi-platform digital solutions, combining user needs, business goals and technical realities.  
  • Utilize and communicate best design practices.
  •  Lead user research and testing, developing customer models -personas, activity models, customer journey maps, etc.)
  • Use a variety of methods to convey ideas and concepts (e.g. storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, etc).
  •  Construct rapid interactive prototypes with initial, low-fidelity visual designs that illustrate the UX/UI design in a realistic manner.
  • Manage project deliverables; collaboration with key stakeholders; mentor other designers.  
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented.
  • Perform task analysis and define the UI Design through information architecture, wireframes and user flows. 
  • Validate designs through usability testing.
  • Lead internal workshops, concept sprints, and design events.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8+ years relevant experience (college and work experience) designing digital products and services that balance user needs, business objectives and technological constraints. An undergraduate degree in Interaction Design, Interface Design, Human Computer Interaction, Service Design and/or Graphic Design is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrable experience utilizing human-centered approaches to product and service design, including interaction design and information architecture principles.
  • Experience owning a product design and seeing it through from concept to launch.
  • Experience leading multifunctional teams in an Agile environment.
  • Experience working closely with developers.
  • Familiarity with current design development tools which includes use of Adobe CS, Sketch, OmniGraffle.
  • Experience with rapid prototyping tools:  Sketch, Axure, UXPin, Invision or Flinto
  • Experience leading ideation workshops.
