Our client, a fast-growing technology and learning start-up, is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their team in the Boston area.  The founders are brilliant scientists and entrepreneurs who have an  enviable track record for building domain-leading ed-tech products
As Senior Product Designer, you’ll be supporting the development of business applications and technology solutions for web and mobile devices. This role is within a highly dedicated, highly skilled multifunctional team, giving you challenging tasks with direct responsibility for the outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Apply a broad range of capabilities to drive digital product design from concept through execution and final implementation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to take work from ideation to reality
  • Bring ideas to life by sketch, storyboard, spec, wireframe, and prototype to establish the best experience-based solutions
  • Participate in product testing activities
  • Define the overall user direction and be hands-on with the design process
  • Translate thoughts and ideas into tangible solutions & user flows
  • Present work when needed to executive level stakeholders and use excellent visual, communication and storytelling skills to represent the product design process with stakeholders
  • Manage your own time, and work well both independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of product design experience, which must include recent mobile experience
  • Demonstrable UI/visual design skills that articulate a modern, best-in-class design aesthetic
  • Ability to perform in an Agile environment
  • Experience in publishing or ed-tech a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and social skills
  • Positive attitude, ‘can-do’ approach and self-motivation
  • An in-depth demonstrable knowledge of user experience & user interaction  
  • Project management experience is a plus
